You've got to love the green and gold, no more so than as sunset approaches

What control does the NSW Government have over the livery of Sydney ferries once the services are privatised?

Can the new operators alter the green and gold colour scheme of the so-called Freshwater, Lady and First Fleet vessels or will their jaunty colour scheme grace our waters for year to come?

One can only hope it is the latter.

When it comes to 'accessorising', the familiar green and gold (and red!) ferries are a perfect counterpoint for our bushbound harbour

This First Fleet ferry, one of seven in its class, is visually at home on a harbour that is 'girt' by bush and sandstone outcrops.
