Two and a half months after New Year's Eve 2011 spectacuar fireworks centred around Sydney Harbour Bridge, the huge lighting frames that created the countdown to 2012 and symbolic finale are at last coming down, square by sqare.
It's a bit hard to see but the bottom left hand section of the giant frame that housed the countdown to the 2012 New Year and symbolic finale has been removed, the start of what appears to be a lengthy dismantling process.
And no doubt, the recent deluge hasn't exactly helped keeping the dismantling to timetable.
Just think! It's just under 300 or so days to New Year's Eve 2013!
