You can't go past the Blue Mountains' Capertee Valley, accessed off the route between Lithgow and Mudgee, for sandstone scenery of the grandest kind.

The image above was created on a WACOM tablet using Corel Painter Essentials 3 Chalk function, using a digital photo for inspiration.

This is the same Capertee Valley 'Chalk' graphic after being put through the Photoshop filter Artistic -Film Grain.

This version above was created using the Photoshop Filter Artistic - Poster Edges.

I don't mind the version above, created using the Artistic filter - Smudgestick.

And the lucky last was created by using the Artistic Filter - Fresco, resulting in a much darker grittier image altogether.
