Perfect match: late autumn Blue Mountains colours and Louise Lavarack's Grand Plan 2001

OMG. What is that? On a swing through Blue Mountains Blackheath in late August, I was struck by an installation at the entrance to a roadside property.

It was if it had been installed to compliment this brief window of opportunity when the Blue Mountains are 'on fire' as European species embrace The Fall.

A big shout out to Louise Lavarack for conjuring up this most elegant and beautiful installation, and for its current owners for making it available to passers by. Galvanised steel in the form of 100 poles, as in 10 rows of 10!
