Barbara's scope of work includes corporate and technical writing and editing. As a document specialist, she is well versed in the start to finish process of preparing high quality documents for publication, with her responsibilities including photo sourcing and liaising with graphic designers and printers.
Her output includes annual reports, external and internal newsletters and content for online internal communications sites.
With over 30 years experience in natural and cultural heritage interpretation, Barbara has a grounding in landform studies and environmental sciences. She has worked as an Interpretation Officer for NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service; the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (previously Environment Australia), Parks Victoria, the Conservation Commission of the Northern Territory, and the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Tasmania.
Barbara has delivered a range of interpretive services for nature-based local, state and federal government agencies in the form of major visitor centre and museum exhibitions, audiovisuals, outdoor interpretive signs, interpretive plans and publications.
Barbara prepares interpretive strategies and plans to satisfy development application conditions of release for developments on sites with heritage significance.
